Choosing the perfect wedding vendors is far from easy – and especially not with the multitude of options at hand. How to select the best ones, though? What are some of the questions you should absolutely ask your wedding vendors? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.

  • The florist. Ask your florist if she can provide you with a portfolio. Also, we strongly encourage you to discuss about your wedding budget and what can be done with it. Don’t forget to ask about any kind of potential extra-fees as well. Some florists will charge extra for delivery, for example – others won’t.

  • The photographer. First of all, discuss their general photography style and their experience. Ask to see a portfolio and discuss the shots you want them to take as well. Also, it is crucial that you ask about potential backup plans, in case they get ill on your wedding day. The last thing you want is to be left without a photographer on this important event of your life, right?

  • The DJ. Considering this person will be in charge with the ambiance at your wedding, you definitely want him to be flawless. Ask about their experience and, if possible, ask to see a recording of their performance. Do they act as Master of Ceremonies too? Can they handle requests from guests? Is there any piece of equipment they need you to rent? Do they provide professional wedding lighting services too?
